What 5 odds pays
| Stake | Returns at 5.23 | Profit |
|---|---|---|
| 1 unit | 5.23 | +4.23 |
| 5 units | 26.15 | +21.15 |
| 10 units | 52.30 | +42.30 |
| 50 units | 261.50 | +211.50 |
Units, not currency: multiply by whatever one unit is for you. A slip at 5.00 needs to land more than one time in 5 just to break even.
How often legs like these actually win
Full settled record →| Price band | Settled singles | Won | Hit rate |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1.20–1.50 | 16 | 11 | 69% |
| 1.50–2.00 | 461 | 237 | 51% |
| 2.00–3.00 | 502 | 202 | 40% |
| All 1.20–3.00 | 979 | 450 | 46% |
Our own published singles, settled against real scores — losses included. If every leg won as often as those singles did (46%), a 3-leg slip would land about 9.7% of the time — roughly one in 10. That is the honest ceiling for any "5 odds" slip built from picks like these.
How the 5 odds slip is built
Candidates are the screener's top-rated football picks priced 1.20–3.00, one per match. Every combination of three to five legs is scored and the slip nearest 5.00 with the highest combined model probability is chosen. At this target the search almost always prefers four or five short legs over two long ones, because that is what keeps the hit chance above lottery territory.
Why we print the hit chance instead of calling it sure
Every "5 odds daily" page you will find promises certainty and hides the one number that matters: how often the slip lands. Ours prints it for the exact slip, prints the bookmaker's price against the model's fair price, and settles every published pick publicly in our record. An accumulator multiplies the bookmaker's margin along with the odds — 5 legs at a typical 5% margin bake in roughly 23% before kick-off — so the only version of this bet worth placing is one where every leg is a genuine value pick, staked small, judged over many slips.
Prefer a different target? Today's 2 odds, 3 odds, 5 odds and 10 odds slips come from the same rated picks; the bet of the day is the single strongest official pick, and today's predictions list every fixture the model prices.
5 Odds FAQ
A slip with a combined decimal price around 5.00: a winning bet returns five times the stake. Four selections at about 1.50 each, or five at about 1.38, multiply to roughly 5.00.
No, and a 5 odds slip cannot be: even four legs at a genuine 70% each land together only about 24% of the time — one slip in four. The page prints the model's hit chance for the exact slip and the settled record of our singles at these prices, so you can see the real odds behind the odds.
Each leg carries the bookmaker's margin and an accumulator multiplies them. Four legs at a typical 5% margin cost about 19% of fair value before kick-off; five legs about 23%. That is why accas are the most profitable product on any betting menu — for the bookmaker.
It is a high-variance bet with a known cost. If every leg is a genuine value pick it can have a positive expected value, but the results arrive in long losing runs broken by occasional wins. Stake accordingly and judge it over dozens of slips, never one Saturday.
Twice daily, around 05:30 and 16:30 UTC, always from fixtures that have not kicked off. Prices move between refreshes; the acca builder lets you re-check the slip leg by leg.
